If you’ve exchanged stamps or a reward for TEDS and the transaction shows as pending, here’s what’s happening.
What "pending" means
In your TEDS transactions list, look for rows of type:
stamp-exchange-pendingreward-exchange-pending
These appear when the partner’s TEDS wallet was insufficient to fully fund your exchange at the moment it happened. The TEDS still credits to your wallet — your headline Available Balance includes pending — but the partner side of the transaction is still being settled.
What to do
Usually, nothing. The partner needs to top up to clear it; that typically happens on their normal cadence.
The audited member-side UI doesn’t display a specific deadline. If a single pending exchange has been outstanding for an unusually long time and you’re concerned, open a ticket with the transaction details and we’ll investigate.
In one sentence
Pending = partner’s wallet was short; your TEDS still credit; partner side settles when they top up.
