How Loyalty Club works end-to-end

The bird’s-eye view: members earn at partners, partners fund a TEDS wallet, TEDS travels between them.

Loyalty Club is one network with three sides: members who collect stamps, partners who run the loyalty programmes, and TEDS — the network token that lets value travel between them.

The one-paragraph version

Members carry a single QR code that works at every UK partner. They earn stamps at each partner’s campaign. On campaigns where the partner has TEDS Trading enabled, members can exchange a single stamp or a completed reward for TEDS (1 TEDS = £0.01) instead of in-shop redemption — TEDS that they can spend at any other partner’s TEDS-enabled campaign or donate to causes. Partners fund TEDS exchanges by topping up a TEDS wallet that pays out when members exchange.

The three sides

Members sign up free on iOS, Android, or the web. They get:

  • One QR code (account-bound, identical on every signed-in device).
  • A My Campaigns view organised per partner business.
  • A TEDS wallet (single Available Balance summing settled + pending).
  • Refer A Friend (per-partner) and Refer A Partner (with 2,500 TEDS / £25 reward).
  • Causes (donate TEDS via DonationModal).

What is a stamp?

A stamp is a unit of loyalty earned at a partner’s campaign. Campaigns have:

  • A Goal — number of stamps to redeem the reward (typical: 10).
  • A reward — what the customer gets when the card’s full.
  • Optional TEDS Trading — when enabled, the campaign supports per-stamp / per-reward exchange to TEDS, and stamps can be bought with TEDS.

What is TEDS?

TEDS (Token Exchange Digital System) is the network token. 1 TEDS = £0.01.

  • Members earn TEDS by exchanging stamps or completed rewards on TEDS-enabled campaigns.
  • Members spend TEDS by buying stamps on other partners’ campaigns, or by donating to causes.
  • Partners fund the wallet that pays out when members exchange.

What we don’t document precisely

  • The exact percentage split / fee structure on TEDS conversions — not exposed in the visible UI we audited.
  • A "5-day deadline" for pending TEDS exchanges — that 5-day grace applies to the SUBSCRIPTION payment_failed state on the partner side, not to TEDS exchanges. (The audited TEDS UI doesn’t show a specific clearing deadline for pending exchanges.)

Where to go next

In one sentence

Members earn one wallet of loyalty across the network; TEDS is the token that moves value between partners; partners fund the TEDS wallet that pays out when members exchange.
