Some businesses ask a few questions of their own — your usual order, a favourite flower, your birthday, the dates that matter to you — so that what they send you is actually for you. Answering is optional, and you can change or delete anything whenever you like.
Two ways to answer
From the business's email
Tap Tell us about you → in their email — or tap any one of the questions shown in it, and the page opens at that question.
- No password needed. If the members app is installed on that phone, the link opens the app; if not, it opens the members website. It is the same page either way — the business's logo and name, "Help us get to know you", your first name, and their questions.
- It is made for you and that one business. The link can only save your answers to that business — nothing else.
- It keeps working. Opening last month's email to tell them a birthday is exactly what it is for.
Because it needs no password, treat the email like anything else addressed to you, and do not forward it to someone you would not want answering for you.
In the app
Open Settings → Your info ("What your clubs know"). It lists every business that has asked you something, with your answers underneath.
If it says None of your clubs have asked you anything yet, that is normal — no business you have joined has written any questions so far.
There is also a way in straight after you join a business and say yes to its offers: Want them to get it right? Tell them what you like takes you to Your info.
Answering
- A words question is one box, up to 200 characters.
- A date question is a day and a month, with the year optional. Some ask for one date ("Your birthday"). Others let you add several and name each one — "Mum's birthday", "Our anniversary". One business can hold up to 20 of your dates.
- Empty boxes are simply not kept. Answer as much or as little as you like.
Then save. If you are signed in, you are offered your card. If you are not, the page tells you the link is your club card too, and offers sign-in and the app — nothing on the page creates an account for you.
Changing or deleting an answer
Open Settings → Your info (or the link in the email again), change what you like and save.
- To delete an answer, clear the box and save. It is gone from your record, not left there blank.
- To delete a date, remove it and save.
- Saving replaces everything that business holds for you with what is on the screen.
Who sees your answers
- Only that business. Your answers are kept against your membership of that one business. No other business on Loyalty Club can see them.
- The business writes the questions, not your answers. It cannot fill in, change or delete what you told it — that is yours to do.
- Dates time their reminder. A date you give is what times that business's reminder email — sent a few days before, once a year — and only if you said yes to their offers and have not unsubscribed. Change or remove the date and the next reminder follows what is there now.
- If a business deletes a question, your answer to it is not kept.
- If you have asked a business not to email you, Your info still shows what they hold, marked They still hold this, but you have asked them not to email you. Delete it there if you want it gone.
In one sentence
Answer a business's questions from the Tell us about you link in its email (no password) or from Settings → Your info, and clear any answer and save to delete it — your answers belong to that one business and to you.
